After eight years of careful restoration work, this historic 16th century family home is now available for your next family reunion, corporate escape, or wedding celebration. Villa Sogno Italiano is perched on a high ridge overlooking the beautiful valleys on the Romagna-Toscana border, an area of spectacular beauty, and close to cities of historic interest. It is an ideal, private and elegant venue for your Italian getaway. The beautiful grounds include a lovely Italian garden, a small chapel for wedding ceremonies, a large panoramic pool with gated pool area, furniture, and a pergola-covered terrace for lunch, and a pool house featuring a summer kitchen, bathroom, shower room and changing area. Nearby are the charming villages of Lutirano and Tredozio, with the latter offering butchers, bakers, general stores, bars and banks. A local family owns Henry\'s, the pizzeria. The new Locanda Guelfo serves Sunday brunch and other meals by appointment. At the other end of town, is the Michelin-rated restaurant Il Mulino di San Michele. Florence is an easy day trip by car or train, as is the Adriatic coast.
Ground Floor: Includes an entrance hall, main living room, study with Satellite TV, guest bathroom, a fully-equipped main kitchen with prep area, a small dining room for 14 guests, the formal dining room seating 22 guests, an informal living room, and a full service laundry room (washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board).
Bedrooms in the Tower: Single bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower), and a double bedroom with two twin beds and ensuite bathroom (shower). Please note that to reach the first bedroom there are about 12 steps. To reach the twin bedroom there are about 30 steps.
First floor: Staircase to the \"piano nobile\", an elegant ballroom (seats 50 guests), two single bedrooms sharing a bathroom with shower, and a guest bathroom. Also located on this floor are three large suites/apartments offering sitting rooms, double beds, ensuite marble bathrooms, and a terrace overlooking the valley.
Second floor: A single bedroom and a double bedroom sharing a bathroom with shower, three double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms with shower or bathtub, a large living room with a small kitchenette, and a maid bedroom with bathroom.
Included in the rental price: Meal service 3 x day (food not included; minimum 500 Euro cash food deposit required upon arrival + 10% shopping fee), all utilities (except heating and phone), use of swimming pool (open May - September), pool towels, gardener, Wi-Fi, housekeeping daily (flexible hours between 8 - noon), weekly change of linens & towels, firewood
