Nestled on the edge of a peaceful Tuscan village, Villa San Savino is a lovely country home that offers both complete privacy and an opportunity for immersion in Italian village life. The villa is located within walking distance of the quaint village of Monte San Savino, and just 22 km from the more cosmopolitan town of Arezzo. For day trips, Siena is 43 km away and Florence is 100 km. Comprised of two floors, this spacious home exudes warmth and comfort and is stylishly furnished with antiques and oriental carpets. Because of its particular design, all the rooms on the ground floor have direct access out to the garden or terrace. Outside the villa there is a large, well-maintained, sun drenched lawn circled by olive trees. Terraced patios are furnished with tables & chairs for al fresco dinners in the warm Tuscan evenings. A large pool is situated in the gardens behind the villa, and thanks to its position, the pool enjoys the warmth of the sun all day long. The pool area features a toilet, two showers, the washing machine, and a storeroom for garden and maintenance equipment.
Entrance to the property is through iron gates opening onto the garden. The ground floor of Villa San Savino features chestnut wooden beams gracing the old-world ceilings, an open living area with arches defining the family and billiards room, a beautiful dining room with a traditional wooden dining table and chairs, a large, fully-equipped kitchen (2 fridge/freezers, stove, oven, dishwasher, toaster, American coffee maker, barbecue, pizza oven), and a bathroom with shower. Up 18 stairs to the first floor are the four nicely-decorated bedrooms and a cozy lounge/sitting area, which has been comfortably furnished with sofas and precious carpets. (From here there is direct access to the garden via another set of stairs). The bedrooms all offer TVs and mosquito nets on the windows. Also on this floor are two shared bathrooms, one with shower and the other with bathtub.
