Lucignano d\'Asso is a jewel of the Tuscan countryside, an enchanting old village set in landscape seemingly extrapolated from the paintings of the old masters from Siena. Here you see areas of dense woodland inhabited by roe deer, hares and pheasants, hills covered with olive groves and patchwork fields that evolve with the changing seasons. Centers of gastronomic and artistic excellence such as Siena, Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano are just a few minutes away. Villa Papale is part of an estate that consists of homes very carefully restored, furnished with family heirlooms, and equipped with efficient and modern amenities. The villa has 4 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms with lots of space including a private pool, solarium, terrace with barbecue and ping pong table.
Access to the downstairs is via the garden. A series of three rooms, with brick arches, first greets the visitor. The center room is the entry foyer with a large cabinet flanked by two unique sculptural chairs. The living room on the right is a comfortable sitting area centered around the fireplace. To the left is a family room with additional day bed seating. Beyond the entrance foyer is a hall leading to the black and white tile bathroom with shower. 2 week minimum stay. Villa Papale is a large independent farmhouse on a huge working estate. Surrrounded by greenery, it has its own private swimming pool, a solarium and a pergola with table and chairs. An outdoor terrace has barbecue and ping-pong. The large living room has comfortable seating centered around the fireplace, and there\'s an additional family room. The spacious country kitchen has two large dining tables, one seating up to 12, and is decorated in spring green and equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. The first bedroom has two twin beds and an attractive bathroom with glass surround shower stall. The second bedroom has a single bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower. The third bedroom has a draped four poster queen bed with ensuite bath with tub and shower. The fourth bedroom has two larger-than-twin beds, with a full bath adjacent. The villa also has a clothes washer.
