This 19th century renovated mansion is located in the foothills of the Alps overlooking the town of Grasse. It has a breath taking view of the natural terrain, the town and the Mediterranean Sea. The location is peaceful and relaxing and is only 1 km from town. In Grasse you will find a variety of shops, restaurants, museums and perfumeries. A short distance by car are the cities of Cannes (11 km), Nice (30 km) or the sea coast town of Antibes (30 km). If your passion is exploring natural wonders you may like to drive to the subterranean lake in the Grotte de la Baume Obscure or to the caves just off the D11 or D13 highway at the Grottes de St-Cezaire. The town of Grasse is centrally located on the Cote d\"Azur and is only about 1 1/2 hours from Monaco.

This house has been modernized while maintaining its old world charm and style. On clear days you can view the sea from any of the eight bedrooms. Most all of the bedrooms, with the exception of two, have their own bathrooms \"ensuite\" and several have private balconies. The house accommodates fourteen with room for additional guests or children in a four bunk bed annex bedroom. The home is surrounded by olive, palm and fruit trees and is set in the midst of a beautiful Mediterranean garden with a lovely swimming pool. In the appropriate season, guests may pick their own fruit and olives. There is one bedroom with king size bed and bath, three with queen size beds and three with double twin beds. There are seven bathrooms. Two comfortably furnished living rooms come complete with library, television, video, piano and a game cupboard for children. The large kitchen has all the modern appliances including; stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, two washers and two dryers, dishwasher and open wood fireplace. For your added convenience there is four hours of made service per week, a phone, stereo, barbeque and outdoor equipment, including a not-so-reliable model railway, for the children. This property can be rented as a full unit or by individual rooms in the Villa de Grasse Bed and Breakfast.
