Villa Brunello is as close to the universal dream of a perfect Tuscan country retreat as can be found! Set amongst a haven of natural tranquility and beauty, surrounded by twenty five hectares of vineyards producing the marvelous Brunello wine, Villa Brunello is a charming stone built house. The owners have lovingly restored this Tuscan gem using only natural materials found in the area. It is approximately eleven kilometers from Montalcino which is well known for its Brunello wine. The villa can accommodate eight guests with its four bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The house in on two stories and is elegantly and tastefully furnished with a comfortable mix of antiques, modern and traditional Tuscan country style.
A splendid swimming pool, set in terraced lawns, enjoys breathtaking views, and a delightful gazebo make the grounds utterly magical! Guests will find a gazebo for dining al fresco complete with BBQ and an original pizza oven. Also in the garden is a small two floor building with a modern gym, jacuzzi and sauna. A cottage that sleeps four is near the main villa. If Villa Brunello is reserved, the cottage will not be rented at the same time. Villa Brunello has two stories. On the main floor you will find a spacious living room with fireplace. The ceilings are vaulted and there are several archways as you go from room to room. There is an elegant yet simple feel with comfortable furnishings, stone walls and wooden beams on the ceiling. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, fridge, and dishwasher and has a pleasant Tuscan feel to it. There is a long table in the kitchen for many helping hands. The kitchen leads to a panoramic terrace. The dining room and a half bath complete this floor. The second floor is where all four bedrooms are found. There are three bedrooms with queen beds and full ensuite (shower) bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has a double bed, again with a full ensuite (shower) bathroom.

The house was perfect with four bedrooms and four bathrooms upstairs plus a ground level bath. We loved the porch, the yard and the pool. Alberto was great! He was very responsive to our requests and gave us a tour of the winery. The wines were great. We are planning to return to this beautiful villa as it is so relaxing and inviting. Just the best.

Myself, my husband, and 7 other members of my extended family (ages ranging from mid-20s to 80) spent a week at Villa Brunello in mid-September of this year. Everything was simply perfect from the moment we arrived. The villa is located down a dirt path in the middle of the most breathtaking rolling hills/valley and surrounded by a vineyard that is actively run by the family that manages the property. We were lucky to have been staying right during harvest and were able to experience the workings of a vineyard during that time. The villa is right on the outskirts of Montalcino with convenient access to many Tuscan towns. We made day trips to approximately 10-15 gorgeous towns and it was always the best part of the day to come back to the Villa, take a swim in the gorgeous pool and relax with a glass of the vineyard's own wine before dinner. Highly recommend this property!
