Villa Bernard is tucked away among the gently folding hills of Lucca, and affords its guests luxurious accommodations. Restored with impeccable taste, it's stunning in every way. On hand is a brigade of enthusiastic staff to look after your every need and provide the highest level of accommodation and service. The Tuscan environment is in a perfect location, with easy access to towns and cities, with its mouthwatering cuisine and historical sites, yet in a very private and serene setting. Villa Bernard itself is immersed in a noble park of lakes, ornamental gardens and fountains, and comprises a host of elegant reception rooms tastefully decorated with soft sunny colors and furnishings.

The grounds offer a spectacular floodlit salt-water pool, ornamental gardens overlooked by 17th century fountains, and a genuine Italian piazza. Outdoor tables and chairs are placed for dining al fresco or just enjoying the exquisite view. The rental charge includes a team of 4 housekeeping staff who, along with general housekeeping duties cater a continental/buffet breakfast each morning and provide service for either lunch or dinner. A chef is also available for either lunch or dinner 6 days per week and is included in the rental charge. A full time gardener looks after the grounds and swimming pool.

The ground floor of Villa Bernard has a fully equipped Tuscan kitchen, large formal banquet room, formal drawing room, and an office that includes telephone, fax, internet access and computer facilities, central music system with CD, radio, cassette and microphone. A small exercise room with workout equipment adjoins the office. The music room has a baby grand piano. There is a card and billiard room, wine library with a fine selection of Tuscan/Italian wines, and a separate lounge with satellite TV and video. The sun lounge also serves as a reading room. There are 4 lovely ground floor bathrooms, and a service area with laundry. The main floor also accommodates the staff. The second floor has 11 queen guest bedrooms (4 of which can either be queen or twin bedded rooms) and 1 double bedroom, each with ensuite bath and shower facilities. 5 of the bathrooms have Jacuzzi tubs. All bedrooms include telephones, hairdryers, bathrobes, and are individually controlled by thermostat for heat and air conditioning and are linked to a central music system.
