Located in a stunning position three miles from Como this lakeshore villa accommodates up to 14 people in 7 luxuriously appointed bedrooms each with a marble bathroom and dressing room. The service of a deluxe hotel will be provided by the professional staff from 7:30 am to 11:00 pm.
The common areas include a frescoed sitting room, a reading room, a music room, and a beautiful dining room leading out to a lakeshore balcony. The seven acres of luxuriant gardens include a pool, a panoramic terrace and a private dock. Villa Aristocratico is located three miles from the charming old city of Como and a one hour drive from the cosmopolitan city of Milan and its Malpensa International Airport. The property consists of two aristocratic lakeside villas, Villa Aristocratico and Villa Aristocratico 1, dating back to the 18th century. Both have been completely renovated and offer the very best of modern living combined with wonderful fine family legacy furniture. They are securely located, down a quarter mile gated road guarded by a quaint old gate-house, in the midst of seven acres of luxuriant gardens and woods which also surround the Villa Aristocratico 1. For large groups both of these villas can be rented together. The two residences are separated by a small historic harbour flanked by ancient terracotta statues. The owners of the Villa D’Este, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, have refurnished these two lakeside aristocratic villas, facing the hotel across Lake Como. Upon request and depending on booking availability it is possible to play the eighteen hole, Villa d’Este golf course in Montorfano.
Villa Aristocratico offers wonderful walks in the park from where you can reach the Lake Shore Village with its charming square on the harbour, its 17th century church and the village garden with its lovely pergola.
The Villa Aristocratico can also be booked with Villa Aristocratico 1. Exclusivity to the pool and the park can also be booked for the villa that are shared with Villa Un Pari.

The villa is fully air conditioned
Villa Aristocratico is directly linked with all transportation. This means you could in fact use your own private car that you can safely shelter in the villas underground parking and take your own rented boat or the comfortable water-taxis from the dock. From the dock you can reach Villa d’Este or other charming villages on the lake. You can also choose to call the International Como Aeroclub and ask their seaplane taxi service to take you directly from the villa boat dock either to a discovery tour of this thrilling alpine lake scenery or to insure your own exclusive commuting with a 10 seat turbine Cessna Caravan seaplane from and to other destinations. (Saint Moritz, Venice, Capri, etc.)
HISTORY
In the early nineteenth century, when the two residences were restored by the celebrated dancer Maria Taglioni, who also owned the prestigious Ca’ d’Oro in Venice on Canal Grande. This famous artist, along with Bellini, Rossini, Franz Lizst, Ricordi, Giuditta Pasta and other musicians of her time, was drawn to the Lake Como, and Blevio in particular, by the lake\'s romantic atmosphere and great beauty.
Today, the lake is not only a resort for exclusive artists ranging from the world of La Scala to the rising presence of the world of the movie industry (yesterday Luchino Visconti, today Stephen Spielberg and George Clooney), but it is also home to many of Italy\'s and Europe\'s leading families. In addition all of the numerous Lake Como tourism resources that range from historical villas (Villa Carlotta, Balbianello, Villa Melzi, Rockefeller Foundation) and gardens visits, to the mountain treking from the Brunate or Pognana funiculars are available. The neighboring small towns of Lugano, Varese and Bergamo can offer you an enchanted visit to some of the finest classical and contemporary art museums of this part of the world.
