The Hilltop Villa is located just thirty five kilometers north of Florence in the Mugello region, also known as \"The Switzerland of Tuscany\". This holiday villa rental can accommodate fourteen guests with seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. Originally a medieval structure, the Hilltop Villa was transformed in the eighteenth century and was recently restored to maintain its original charm. Its location allows for easy day trips to such famous cities as Florence, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Lucca and even Rome which is only three hours south on the highway. There is a private pool on the property with views of the beautiful countryside. Guests can also enjoy activities such as golf, tennis and horseback riding. Lago di Bilancino is a nearby lake for such water sports as sailing and windsurfing.
Cooking classes, gourmet meals and wine tasting tours can all be organized upon request.

The Hilltop Villa has two levels. On the ground floor there is a spacious entryway with antiques and paintings. This floor has a lot of room for entertaining with a spacious living room with fireplace, couches, armchairs, satellite television, telephone, and wood beamed ceilings. The adjoining dining room is formal and can seat fourteen guests. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen also has a dining room table for less formal occassions. A cook is available upon request as well as wine tasting tours. There is one queen bedrooms on the ground floor and two bedrooms with twin beds (can be made into Queens). All of the rooms have beautiful antique furniture and decorations along with tile floors and wood beamed ceilings. There are two full bathrooms, one with shower and one with tub and shower.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.Two bedrooms have Queen beds and two have twins (can be made into Queens).One has a bathtub and the other three have showers. All of the rooms are well appointed, have tile floors and wood beamed ceilings. A drawing room is in the center of the three bedrooms.

The property has a lovely garden with century old trees and a romantic grotto, Grotta dei Delfini. The villa\'s private swimming pool has a panoramic terrace with views of the surrounding valleys and the villa.
A fax can be made available if requested and pets are allowed upon request.
