Description
Morina is a typical red brick farmhouse that blends perfectly with the rolling hills of southern Tuscany. Recently restored by the young owners, all the original features of the house have been carefully maintained. The house is surrounded by a lovely garden on one side and by geranium plants on the other side. A large swimming pool (7x14 meters – 1,10-1,40 meters deep) offers a wonderful view of the countryside. The pool is open from the 15th of May to the 30th of September.
There are 5 apartments in total. The apartments are very spacious and all have a private space to dine \"al fresco\". All apartments are similar in style, tastefully furnished with wrought iron beds, they have the original terracotta floors and vaulted ceilings. Satellite TV available in each apartment.
Morina is an ideal location to visit Siena and the surrounding area. It is only 15 minutes drive from the beautiful Renaissance town of Siena and only 1 hour from Florence. The towns of Montepulciano, Pienza and Monteriggioni are all within a 30 to 50 minutes drive.
The nearest village with shopping facilities and restaurants is San Rocco a Pilli which is 3 kms away.
