Il Costa Torre is a former Saracen tower dating back to the 15th century. It’s located along the Amalfi Coast about 2 km from Maiori, in a dominating position sheer above the sea.
This property provides a fantastic atmosphere.It stretches from the panoramic coastal road right down to the sea. As you descend, you will discover a delightful and perfectly-tended Mediterranean garden full of surprises: from the Jacuzzi located on a terrace ledge, suspended between the sea and the sky, to a sauna hidden behind a rock that looks onto a beautiful inlet of the Mediterranean. There is a succession of panoramic terraces furnished with benches and valuable, Vietri ceramic tables, and a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi. The various living areas are found along the path leading down to the coast.
The property is accessible from the main coastal road, through a private, remote controlled gate. The property has a parking lot for its guests, cars. It is a fantastic property with lots of outdoor space, the \"Saracen Tower\", beautiful views, and a swimming pool (pool can be heated at an extra charge and covered so is open all year). There is an English speaking warden/groundskeeper who is present on the premises throughout the day, ensuring that everything on the property runs smoothly, and to help guests with anything they may need.
The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning as well as a safe and mini-refrigerator/bar. This is a marvelous property that is great for large groups.

1ST LEVEL: (20 steps from the parking lot). AGAVE: Entrance from a panoramic terrace, living- and dining-room with small kitchenette. Double bedroom & bathroom with shower. ULIVO: Living and dining-room with small kitchenette. Double bedroom with queen-size bed & bathroom with shower (ULIVO and AGAVE can be connected internally).
2ND LEVEL: (80 steps from level 1): Heated, indoor-outdoor pool with jacuzzi, several terraces with wicker lounge chairs, a covered veranda with dining-area and table for up to 22 guests, connected to the kitchen, and a barbecue.
CANONICA: Large kitchen and dining-room. Living-room with fireplace, 1/2 bathroom. GIGLIO: Double bedroom with bathroom & shower. ROSMARINO: Double bedroom with single sofa-bed, bathroom with shower. OLEANDRO: Double bedroom with dressing-room and bathroom with shower. CACTUS: Double bedroom with bathroom & shower.
3RD LEVEL: (about 90 steps from level 2): A large terrace furnished with a decorative, hand painted, Vietri ceramic table and chairs.
SARACEN TOWER: (Divided into four levels)
Ground Floor - Kitchen with access to a terrace furnished with area ideal for dining outside. Double bedroom with bathroom with shower
First Floor - Large living-room with fireplace and dining-room with sea-view.
Second Floor - 2 double bedrooms with bathrooms & shower (one with fireplace). Panoramic terrace with sea view and access to Third floor.
Third Floor - Double bedroom with bathroom & shower; loft with 1 single bed; double bedroom, sun-bathing terrace with sea-view, and private path down to the sea with furnished area for sunbathing.
Access: The villa is accessible from the main coastal road, through a private, remote controlled gate. The property has a parking lot for its guests cars.
Facilities: Air-conditioning, heating, ice-maker, barbecue, Satellite-TV, video recorder, telephone, safe & mini-fridge/bar in all bedrooms, PC with internet connection, fax, stereo with CD-player, pool with Jacuzzi ( 7 m x 4 m) and private access to the sea. Private car parking.
Maid: 4 hours, 6 times a week (24 total hours) included. 4 linen changes per week. Grounds keeper is at guests\' disposal during the day.
General information:
- English speaking assistant is on hand and present at the villa, every day, to help guests with anything they may need.
- Daily breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner, served by qualified personnel, upon request (request must be made at time of reservation).
- Final cleaning fee of 350 Euros not included.
- 2000 Euro damage deposit not included in price and must be paid locally upon arrival.
- Two extra beds can be added, free of charge, if necessary. Baby crib available free of charge.
- Pool is open from April to October.
- Internet available and users must purchase a pre-paid internet card to use (available at villa).
- Heating, air conditioning and electricity included up to a maximum of 350 kwh per week (any electricity consumption above this figure will be deducted on the premises at the end of guests stay).
- 24 hours of maid service weekly ( 4 hours x 6 days a week) Extra maid/cleaning service available on request.
- If property is only rented for 10 guests, the other side of the property may be rented contemporaneously.
- Small pets are welcome
- All rooms have flat screen TV.
- The pool is open April, 1-October, 31.
Il Costa Torre has various living areas and the tower; the tower can sleep 13 guests on its own. This Large luxury villa rental in Maiori can accommodate a total of 20 people with the tower and various living areas(if the property is only rented for 12 guests, the other side of the property may be rented contemporaneously- Inquire about price for parties of 12).
