3 Night minimum stay.
The spacious lounge area is cozy and light-filled and offers two large sofas facing each other around a pretty glass coffee table, and several armchairs. The slightly mansarded ceiling creates a play of light thanks to the windows overlooking the room, where the dining table is also located. The fully-equipped kitchen is on the left, hidden by a sliding door.
The corridor leads to the first two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is on the left with a modern and contemporary style, the decorations simple and effective. The minimalist shelves face the bed, which is surrounded by two windows that illuminate the room. This room has and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Bedroom 2 is at the end of the corridor. A large mirror faces the bed and reflects the wall of the headboard upholstered on the page of an old book. An original and pleasant decoration. A large chest of drawers is available to store belongings.
The treasure of this magnificent duplex can be found on the second floor. Up the stairs is the third bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. This room benefits from a superb private terrace with a view on the colorful streets of Lisbon. Equipped with two sofas and a coffee table, it is the ideal place to enjoy a drink and conversation with friends.
This duplex apartment is located in the multicolored Chiado district, popular for its shops and theaters as well as its historical monuments, traditional shops, cafés and restaurants. It is probably one of the most emblematic and elegant districts in Lisbon, between Bairro Alto and La Baixa. This district is a real meeting point for locals. In 1856, it saw the birth of the \"Grémio Litererario\", an intellectual club of the time. Chiado is considered to be the center of Portuguese Romanticism.
It is in Chiado that you will discover several theaters such as the Teatro de Sao Carlos, or Teatro Sao Luiz and the Teatro da Trindade, as well as the Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporanea.
Nestled in the heart of Chiado, Palacio Chiado has several trendy restaurants and bars on two floors. The principle is simple; at the entrance, you are given a magnetic card that will allow you to consume and pay the bill at the end. The ground floor consists of a huge room with a welcoming bar and restaurant (fast food dedicated to local products, local cuisine, meat bar). The first floor, accessible after climbing the incredible decorative staircase, is a little more select. Great wines, delicatessen, local cheeses, pastries, sushi... The culinary variety is incredible and it is absolutely necessary to book in advance to be able to go there, especially on weekends.
To drink the best mojitos in Lisbon visit Clube da Esquina, in Bairro Alto.
