The Château is a family and heritage property of which we have been carefully restoring for four years the magnificent 17th and 18th century buildings and its wonderful park.


The property can accommodate up to 30 people in 15 spacious double rooms, spread over the 3 buildings of the 17th and 18th centuries of the domain (the Castle, the Sheepfold, the Stable) in the hushed comfort of a large family mansion.


In a 73 hectare biodiversity area, in the middle of vineyards and olive trees, in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, near Lourmarin and Cucuron, 30 minutes from the center of Aix-en-Provence.

This is a character property, unique and exceptional, consisting of a XVIIth
and XVIIIth Century Castle, probably a hunting lodge originally, built between 1635 and 1707. Hidden
in the heart of a park and its Vineyard, in one of the most beautiful sites in the LUBERON
The property benefits from unrestricted views over the Luberon and neighboring villages.
The Castle as well as the whole property has been completely restored, ensuring architectural respect.
The XVIII th century facade has a beautiful alignment of mullioned windows and dressed stone frames. 
In the center, the carved front door. The living space of the Castle is 1000 sqm.

It offers spacious volumes and is laid out as follows:
Ground Floor: Vast entrance hall and a beautiful staircase with XVIIth century Gypserie,
cloakroom with access to the two vaulted cellars in the basement.
Large kitchen with Feudal fireplace and old Kitchen garden. Scullery with North access.
Five large en-suite reception rooms with two dining rooms, two beautiful sitting rooms
and a library-study.
An entrance to the East leads to the indoor swimming pool. This one is open onto the

Adjoining the back of the Castle, delightful XVIIth century vaulted chapel with beautiful
carved gate dating back to 1661

Former stone farmhouse of the domain, on a headland behind the Castle. Dating from
the XVIIIth century, it comprises around 600sqm of living space, in perfect condition,
and is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor, vast entrance hall with open space, large vaulted sitting room and
its fireplace, television room. Superb fully-fitted kitchen with dining room. Games room,
boiler room, laundry and independent garage.

Upstairs, six beautiful bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Swimming pool independent from the ones of the Castle.

Another charming guest house, converted into the former Castle’s stables. Approximately

- House Keeper / Governess working 6 hours Monday to Saturday

- Daily housekeeping : one maid for Castle + one maid for Farmhouse / each working 8 hours a day Monday to Saturday

- Linen and towel change in each room every three days and in case of special needed change

- Maintenance of exterior spaces by full time gardener - intervention from the property management when needed

- 3 hours from Paris to the Aix TGV station, then 35 minutes by car via the freeway
- 1 hour by plane to Marseille Provence airport, then 45 minutes by car
- 3 hours by car from the center of Lyon
