Our home is available all year around for weddings and celebrations and as a private
retreat for families seeking a truly magical hideaway.
A blissfully secret place, this superb property is tucked away in the lovely countryside of Burgundy.
The 500 year old castle proudly overlooks the gardens and untouched forest of 3 hectares. The river Ignon flows through the property giving it that extra unique touch.
Relax beside the outdoor heated swimming pool or in the wellness center with its jacuzzi and sauna, sip a glass of champagne on the beach, enjoy a barbeque in front of the castle or a stroll through the forest, let the children enjoy the playground and the games room or lounge a bit with a glass of wine in front of the open fire.
Prices listed are for week long stays. This is for full occupancy, 22 guests. For groups of 16 or smaller, please inquire for pricing. During low and mid season, it is possible to stay for only 1 night. Please inquire for pricing.
Chateau la Fontaine offers 9 bedrooms with lovely views over the property and 9 bathrooms spread out over 2 floors. The Chateau can accommodate up to 22 guests.
Here is a break down of the bedrooms:
First floor: 3 suites with King size beds and three bathrooms of which 2 bathrooms have a shower and a bath. Up to 7 guests can sleep in these three bedrooms. A single bed can be added to the 3rd suite.
Second floor: 3 suites with King size beds and three bathrooms with showers. 7 guests can sleep here. A single bed can be added in suite 6. Finally, there are bunk beds for 2 children. (this would allow 9 people to stay here).
Third floor (the attic): 3 rooms with QUEEN size beds and three bathrooms with shower. 6 guests can sleep here.
The beds in the castle are 180x200cm and in the attic 160x200cm. Upon simple request all double beds can become single beds.
The nursery has two cots, a crib and a changing table.
The beds are made upon arrival and the bathroom towels are provided.
Each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and its toiletries.
You can enjoy the large living room with its majestic fireplace or try your hand at a game of Billiards before testing your Jamie Oliver skills in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy your delights in the cosy dining room.
The wine cellar offers a multitude of bottles to pair with your food.
