Description
Château de Seille is a superb 900m2 Château built over different periods from the 16th to the 19th century is embellished with a 15 acres park including a 10 acres of forest classified as a "protected site", and a small pond for fishing. The castle being built on a dominant position, you will enjoy a superb view of the Jura mountains.
A pedestrian and cycle path takes you in 5 minutes to the village of Cuisery (all shops) from the entrance of the property. Tournus, gastronomic capital of Southern Burgundy with its Michelin starred restaurants is only 7 km away.
The place is ideal for jogging, walking, horse riding and cycling from the Château. The Seille river is a few hundred meters away and offers a cycle route as well as water activities (canoe rental, fishing boat, etc.).
The castle has 7 luxurious bedrooms and 7 bathrooms "Ensuite" as well as a children's bedroom.
The huge, very well-equipped kitchen opens directly onto the pool terrace, thus promoting great conviviality.
A complete Wellness area with a gym (weight training and cardio), sauna and hammam, as well as a massage room (a local masseuse offers her services on site) are available in the Château.

The Château de Seille is located in the heart of a beautiful 15 acres park, including 10 acres of a charming forest, with a small fishing pond and a heated swimming pool.
A car park allows about ten vehicles to park.
The Château enjoys great privacy without any opposite.

The living rooms on the ground floor have superb painted & French style ceilings. All the rooms have kept the noble materials of yesteryear: old parquet floors, French ceilings, fireplaces, period doors and windows.
The decoration and furniture have been chosen with the greatest care, a true marriage of excellence between tradition and modernity.
All 7 bedrooms have King beds (which can be split into Twins on request).
1 bedroom is located on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, 3 bedrooms are on the second floor, as well as the children's bedroom.
2 bedrooms on the 1st floor are equipped with HD TV, Satellite TV and Blu-ray DVD player.
All bedrooms have adjoining private bathrooms.
The capacity is limited to 15 people in 2021 (21 from spring 2022)
AS OF APRIL 2022, THE CHATEAU WILL ACCOMODATE UP TO 21 PEOPLE IN 10 LUXURIOUS KING BEDROOMS AND 1 CHILDREN'S BEDROOM.
Three baby cots are available on request and a child bed (190x80cm).
The child and baby room
The children's room on the 1st floor includes:
- A 80x190cm child's bed.
- A traditional baby bed (with wooden bars) of good quality.
- A wardrobe.
- A changing table.
Two baby chairs are available in the dining room.
The bathrooms
The 7 bedrooms have their own adjoining bathroom. Furnished with taste and concern for your comfort, each bathroom has at least a toilet, a basin, and a shower.
Bathroom towels are provided on arrival (2 size XL and 2 size L per bathroom)
A hairdryer is available in each bathroom.
Peaceful nights
The castle is far from the main roads and any noise pollution.
At the Fireside
The small living room has a large 16th century open fireplace, the dining room has a large ceramic stove. In autumn and winter, wood is provided to you free of charge.
The large living room is equipped with an electric combustion fireplace insert allowing you to fully enjoy moments of conviviality by the fire, without having to bother with logs.
The large living room
With nearly 52m2, the large living room is furnished with sofas and armchairs for about twenty guests. The room is richly decorated with a beautiful fresco on the recently renovated ceiling, superb parquet floors and woodwork.
Available: Large HD TV screen, blu-ray DVD player, Satellite TV, large DVD library of more than 100 DVDs. A library is also at your disposal.
The small living room
In the oldest part of the Castle (16th century origin), the small living room and its cozy atmosphere will be an ideal refuge to enjoy a warm fireplace, play a game of chess or Poker (large poker table for 8 people) or have an aperitif with friends.
The dining room
The table is ready to accommodate up to 20 guests. As with the living room, the large windows overlooking the park bring in a lot of light, they highlight the superb recently renovated painted ceiling, the period woodwork and the oak floors. An old ceramic stove is available for a good fire.
A wide assortment of crockery and cutlery, chosen with taste, is at your disposal.
A breakfast corner is set up with at your disposal: traditional coffee machine, Senseo coffee machine, Nespresso coffee machine and electric kettle.
The kitchen
The huge kitchen with its French ceiling has direct access to the pool terrace and garden furniture.
It is fully equipped: Large professional stove with 5-burner gas hob and large electric oven, 2nd traditional oven, 2 microwave ovens, 2 dishwashers, two large refrigerators, freezer, ice maker, toaster.
A second breakfast area is fitted out with at your disposal: traditional coffee machine, Senseo coffee machine, Nespresso coffee machine and electric kettle.
A large granite top in the center of the room, with a few stools, offers plenty of space for cooking & lunch.
A complete set of utensils and kitchen accessories is at your disposal, as well as dish towels.
Dishwasher washing products are also provided.
2 baby chairs are at your disposal.
We have made every effort to provide you with a large number of leisure activities that will keep young and old in all seasons.
The swimming pool
The 5.50m x11m swimming pool is heated *. It is open from April to October (exact date depending on the weather). Its depth begins with a range of one meter to descend to approximately 1.50m. The swimming pool is equipped with a rolling shelter guaranteeing the safety of the children.
Sunbathing loungers will enhance your sunny afternoons and its outdoor lounge for your lunches and dinners by the water.
* The swimming pool heating system is an aerothermal heat pump. The pump uses the calories from the air to heat the circulating water, so we cannot guarantee a water temperature if the air temperature is below 15 °.
The wellness area
A 50m2 space on the second floor of the Château is totally dedicated to well-being and fitness. The fitness & weight training area is equipped with the following equipment: bicycle, elliptical trainer, rowing machine, weight training tower, various weights and weights, mats.
A sauna and steam bath / hammam are at your disposal.
A musical tour with blutooth connection will allow you to do your workout to music.
Equipped massage room. Dominique, professional masseuse, is at your disposal (details in the section of local services).
Billiard room
Located on the 1st floor a lounge with American and English billiards is at your disposal.
Poker & Chess Room
The small living room on the ground floor offers a professional Poker game table (and chip case) as well as a chess & checkers table.
Private fishing pond
A small fishing pond is located inside the grounds of the property. 2 fishing rods are available free of charge (excluding accessories), lines and accessories are on sale in local stores (for example at the Cuisery supermarket).
Covered play area
A covered outdoor area is available with table tennis, table football and darts.
Board games
A set of board games, in French version, is at your disposal: Scrabble, monopoly, chess games, checkers games, card games, puzzles, etc ...

The castle is equipped with 3 television screens and blu-ray DVD players:
- A large High Definition screen in the living room, with blu-ray DVD player and Astra satellite receiver.
- A High Definition screen in 2 bedrooms, equipped with a blu-ray DVD player.

5 Wi-Fi free hotspots are located inside the Château.

We provide you with a set of 16 Pétanque balls. A Pétanque track is set up near the Château.

A children's play area, with slide and swings is available at the Chateau.
Football Cages & Volleyball Net
A pair of football cages and a volleyball net are installed on the lawn near the Castle. Adapted balls are at your disposal.

Two local ladies have their own small businesses and offer their services for cleaning, babysitting, dishes, help with cooking and other activities.

- Dominique is a well-established professional masseuse in the region. She offers relaxing massages (Californian type). We have a massage room in the Wellness area of the Castle.

CUISERY SHOPSA pedestrian & cycle path, the starting point of which is in front of the gate of our castle, takes you in 5 to 10 minutes by foot to the city center of Cuisery.
