Chateau Charente is the ideal place to celebrate your love or special moments with special people. This elegant and charming venue, filled with moments of history, is available for exclusive rental for your lovely day. Set in the heart of a 19-hectacre park, the main chateau offers 660 sqm and can accommodate up to 26 guests. With its adjoining buildings, the entire estate offers accommodation for up to 94 guests.
The chateau was completely renovated in 2016, decorated with great care and tastefully furnished with antique furniture. The owners were able to maintain its 19th century charm while adding a chic and modern touch.
CHATEAU:
• A ground floor of 300sqm with 2 luxury lounges, 2 dining rooms, a large kitchen and one ensuite bedroom.
• 2 floors dedicated to bedrooms and bathrooms with 2 living rooms. 1st floor of 300sqm - 2nd floor of 60sqm
• The banqueting salon and professionally equipped kitchen (up to 120 people seated/240 standing – 120sqm)
• The pool Hall (up to 60 seated guests/120 standing – 60sqm)
There is A/C in the grand salon only. One-meter thick walls maintain the chateau cool inside during the summer months.

3 Night Minimum Stay!
For a relaxing stay, four lounges are available in the chateau. They offer a charming, chic 19th century decoration style: 2 Satellite TV lounges (CNN, BBC) and 2 dining rooms (one for 22 guests and another for 12 guests). The rooms have been completely refurbished in the utmost respect of traditions with period woodwork and moldings. Each with their own fireplace, the rooms are warm, bright and calm.
Depending on the number of guests, you can use the lounges of the chateau, the banquet hall (up to 120 people seated) or the pool hall (up to 60 people seated 120 standing people). Wi-Fi and business equipment are available (video projector, paper board, tables, chairs). The chateau has 10 rectangular tables (indoor and outdoor use), 40 chairs for outdoor/indoor use 12 round tables for 6 people, 5 round tables for 8 people, 130 golden chairs for indoor use. All available with no extra charge
10 bedrooms - 7 bathrooms: Three rooms are ideal for families with children. Located on the ground floor, the Constance room is perfectly suitable for guests with limited mobility. Bathrooms are all equipped with hair dryer/toiletries/toilet paper/towels. The cottage is perfect for accommodating a larger number of guests. 12 rooms for 2 to 5 people each (for up to 44 people). 4 showers + 2 WC 4 wash basins. During your stay you can enjoy the peaceful property surrounded by a beautifulwooded park that will delight your guests.There is a walking loop in the park 1km300 meters long. The river “Charente” is accessible from the property. We can organise Canoeing,fishing...Tables and chairs are available for outdoor catering. Bikes available at no extra charge

Wedding fees surcharge: 750 Euros for Table, chair, catering, ceremony in the gardens
Wedding Planner Service : Nathalie works as a wedding planner for the Château. She organizes weddings all over the region and has now planned more than 20 French and international weddings.
