Description
Located in the heart of Serre-Chevalier (Southern Alps, France), Chalet Soleil is a large luxury catered or self catering chalet built out of larch wood. With its 350m² and 6 en suite bedrooms, the chalet is fitted out to sleep 12 adults plus 2 children. It is situated at the foot of the slopes and only 250 meters from the ski lifts and lies within two hectares of woodland with no neighboring buildings, offering magnificent views of the mountains.
A sauna, spa, and south facing terrace are at your disposal!
Chalet Soleil is on three levels. On the garden level are the main living areas with a spacious and cozy living room with fireplace, dining room and fully equipped kitchen which leads out to a beautiful terrace. The dining room can seat up to 14 comfortably.
The first bedroom is on the garden level and is handicapped accessible with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. An office area completes this floor with plasma TV, internet access and wood burning stove.
On the ground floor is a studio bedroom with two twin beds with en suite shower room. Guests will enjoy the wonderful sauna and jacuzzi after a day of skiing. There is also the convenience of a ski room where skiers can dry their gear for the next day.
The final floor has four bedrooms. All the bedrooms can accommodate 2 guests each. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and two have 2 twin beds each (those can be made into queens). Three of the bedrooms have a balcony with view and all have en suite bathrooms. There is also a \"kid\'s refuge\" where two additional children can sleep.
If you would like daily breakfasts, chef service, maid service or extra changes of linen, all of this can be arranged for your group. You are sure to enjoy the slopes of the Southern Alps at Chalet Soleil!
With 250km of pistes, Serre-Chevalier is the fourth largest ski resort in France. The resort, situated in the Hautes-Alpes region, has 300 days of sunshine a year together with an excellent snow record thanks to its high altitude.
The highest town in Europe, BRIANCON, is also part of the Serre Chevalier resort and is only 8 km from the chalet. Briançon is well known for its ancient walled town, built by Vauban, with its lively streets as well as its casino which will entertain your evenings !
