Casa Santa Ana is on the outskirts of the quaint little village of Almadena where you will find plenty of good restaurants, several bars and markets within a few minutes walk. It's a lovely and modern bungalow surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside. This villa is surrounded by a lovely pool, terraces, lawn, flowering shrubs, plenty of garden furniture, and a barbecue for outdoor dining. On the main floor the comfortable living/dining room opens to the partially covered terrace overlooking the pool. The large kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a dining area. There are two spacious twin bedded rooms, one opening out to the terrace, and there are two bathrooms. If you are planning a larger group, keep in mind that Casa Santa Rosa (see PO-ALG-001-04) is only a few steps away from Casa Santa Ana. Lagos is only 12 kms and Praia da Luz is 4 kms, so there's plenty of opportunity to explore, partake in water sports, golf, and beach activities.
The west Algarve is a delight to visit. Much of the coastline has beautiful sandy beaches and warm blue water. The history and culture of the entire area is captivating. The colorfully painted village houses clustered over cobblestone streets are pretty as picture postcards. And it was from here that mariners were sent out by Prince Henry the Navigator to discover whether the world was flat. Excellent seafood restaurants, boutiques, artisan shops, and resorts give added zest to your exploration of this wonderful area of Portugal .
Casa Santa Ana is a beautiful and quiet location to relax and enjoy the beauty and climate of the Algarve. The spacious and comfortably furnished living/dining room has a fireplace and music center, and the large modern well-equipped kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and clothes washer. There are two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. The pool is surrounded by terraces, lawn and flowering shrubs and there is plenty of garden furniture and a BBQ to invite you to dine outdoors. The weekly rental price includes 2 hours of maid service during weekdays.
