Art lovers will enjoy this one bedroom apartment located just a 10 minute walk from the Academy of Fine Arts. The Academy houses one of the finest art collections in Italy, reviewing Venetian painting from the 14th century to the 18th century. St. Mark\'s square is also a short walk away. Take a tour along the Grand Canal in a steamer starting from St. Mark\'s Square to see the canal at its best.

The master bedroom has an elegant queen size sleigh bed. There is a full bath with tub and shower. Views from the apartment are of the rooftops of Venice.

The third floor apartment has exposed old wood beam ceilings. The apartment has been tastefully decorated including antique pieces. The sitting room has a sofa (which could sleep one) and chair. The kitchen has a stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is also a clothes washer in the apartment. The kitchen has an eat in area with table seating four. The apartment is heated and equipped with a mobile air conditioning unit. The owner recently put at disposal of all clients of the Palazzo a computer with high speed internet access available 24 hours / day at no charge.

The apartment was all as promised: stylish, well appointed, tranquil and convenient for the Grand Canal, just across from St Marks. We received a warm welcome and a thorough briefing on the apartment and the Dorsoduro neighbourhood, including where to eat and shop from the Contessa, who lives in the Palazzetto and is and ready to give assistance and advice whenever required. The sublime week we spent in Venice left us longing to return to the city and the Palazzetto. We highly recommend it!

We stayed in the Palazzetto from September 15 till September 22, 2014. Renting this apartment was one of the best decisions we ever made. The house is beautiful, easy to reach from any point of arrival. It is located in quiet area and at the same time it is close to main attractions of Venice. The apartment is clean and comfortable; and the most important thing for independent travelers the wonderful host of this apartment- Anna. She is very friendly, always available to give advice and to help
