This lovely Lisbon apartment is ready to accommodate 5 people in a modern and warm environment. Apartment Alfama is located in the charming and authentic neighborhood with the same name. Here you will feel the true heart beat of Lisbon and enjoy the food and music and wine that seem to flow in this part of the city. Apartment Alfama is located on the 3rd floor of a building without elevator. The apartment is laid out on two floors so there is also an internal staircase to go up which does not make this an ideal option for those with walking difficulties.

Upon entering Apartment Alfama, there is an a small corridor decorated with a large mirror.
In front of you is the first bedroom which is bright and has flowers hanging on the walls which cascade down on the white walls and enhance the bluish shades of the bed. The decoration is refined, the atmosphere peaceful: the place is perfect to rest after your many adventures in Lisbon.
In the next room is a bathroom with a lot of natural lighting.
Leave the bathroom, and enter the living room: the living room breathes nature. The pretty plants hanging from the ceiling create a very Zen atmosphere, making you want to nestle in the sofas or footstools in the centre. 3 shelves house a collection of books and decorative objects, giving an artistic touch to this modern and refined room.
On the left are the kitchen and dining table. A work surface will allow you to prepare delicious dishes.
At the back of the room, a sliding door made of old wood is eye-catching: by sliding it, you can access a staircase and discover the little gem of this elegant and refined apartment in the centre of Lisbon.
Upstairs, you will find a pretty attic bedroom. The wooden beams contrast with the refined decoration. A large bathtub stands at the foot of the bed and precedes the bathroom at the back of the room.
This room has a small balcony that offers a breathtaking view of the rooftops of Lisbon.

This elegant and refined apartment in the centre of Lisbon is located in the Alfama district, one of the most emblematic \"bairro\" of the city. This district is typical of Lisbon: small shaded alleys, colourful houses, grandmothers with windows... It is a very popular district but which perfectly combines tourist flows and typical Portuguese houses. The atmosphere is relaxed and very pleasant.
It is in this district that you will find 2 viewpoints offering a breathtaking view of the beautiful city of Lisbon: Santa Estevao or Portas do Sol. Lisbon is called the city of a thousand colours, and you can enjoy it from above, with a view of the Tagus River.
If there is one monument not to be missed, it is most certainly the Sao Vicente de Fora monastery. Its name Fora means \"outside the walls\" because when it was built, the monastery was located outside the city walls. Nowadays, it is one of the most important buildings in the country and also the burial place of most Portuguese kings.
A second building is located in the Alfama district, the National Hall of Fame, which is part of the Sao Vicente parish. It is a magnificent Portuguese Baroque monument, surmounted by a majestic dome.
Notice to hunters and collectors: the Lisbon flea market, the feira da ladra, is one of the few places where you can bargain in Lisbon. It is located between the Pantheon and the imposing Sao Vicente church. For decades, two days a week, we have been meeting tourists, collectors and local residents who have come to sell their trinkets of all kinds. A cheerful bric-a-brac in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
For a digestive break, we recommend the Maruto, a quality tapas bar with a varied and Mediterranean menu, not to mention delicious Portuguese specialities. A pleasant welcome, good advice and an excellent price-quality ratio: this is an essential stopover in the Alfama district.
