Nestled between Umbria and Tuscany, Villa Monterchi II is a luxurious property near artistic hubs such as Cortona and Arezzo. The villa features an outdoor Jacuzzi and a large private pool. The bedrooms and lounge areas of Villa Monterchi II were remodelled by well-known local artist Luigi Puletti, who was a forerunner of the Liberty style. The 25 hectares of land surrounding the villa, which has a private pool, are home to century-old oaks, cypresses, and pine trees. These trees have been planted to create a natural park, where guests can enjoy the local flora and fauna.
The garden and the swimming pool are lit up at night, ideal for spending Summer evenings, perhaps tasting a good glass of local wine. Villa Monterchi II represents the perfect union of tradition and modernity, where you will be spoiled by the attention of the owner, who will do everyting possible to make your holiday unique. On request you can enjoy the external Jacuzzi. The villa has wifi.

A 500 square metre villa. While the frescoes have been restored in some areas, the tradition of visible beans has been preserved in others. The majority of the bedrooms have frescoes, and a blend of modern and antique furniture pieces adorn the spaces. This blend of modern and traditional design is also present in three of the bathrooms, which feature marble showers and thermostatic mixers. Every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and air conditioning.

To say our Villa stay and experience was better than even imagined, sounds perhaps far-fetched, but is what happened.

My family planned for long over a year, a week long stay at Monterchi II  (Piazza Rosadi) near the Village Monterchi. It was a reunion celebrating milestone birthdays and an anniversary, gathering family members together from around the world, in what can only be described as paradise.

Hopes in working with Emmanuel and Rentavilla, included a place in Tuscany, a view, a separate pool away from the house (safety for a toddler), a doable walk or bike ride to a nearby hilltop village for daily visits, and did I say, a view?

This magnificent villa met all these hopes, and then some. The Villa welcomes you in with surrounding manicured lush gardens with such a variety of blooming flowers it's hard to list them all (though early June found all the roses in full colorful glory). Next you step into a treasured home obviously well maintained and cared for by the Rosadi family for many generations. Met by the proud and delightful Rosado Rosadi, his tour takes you throughout the many exquisite rooms of the Villa and all around the property. Every detail to make your stay enjoyable is discussed, ending up poolside which tempts you to jump in right then and there.

The location was ideal as well. So many villages nearby to visit, although it was hard to leave the comforts of this incredible Villa. Thank you to all who made this memorable stay perfect for our family. We will be back!

We had the most wonderful family holiday at Monterchi II villa. The villa is beautiful and blends character from its earliest days (18th century) with all modern conveniences. The owner, Rosado, is wonderful; a charming man who ensures his guests are looked after, but also left alone as desired. He was able to recommend excellent local restaurants and make reservations, as well as direct us to the local stores & supermarkets, and organize cycle hire for a couple of the guests. The villa gardens are truly beautiful, with expansive views over the valley and towards the town, and have wonderful pots of hydrangeas lining the outdoor dining area and the pathway to the glorious pool.
You need a car to get to the town & restaurants or shops. We were supremely comfortable staying put and enjoying the views and the pool.
One of the best holidays we’ve ever taken, and memories for a lifetime. We will return.
