Description
Villa Belle Vie has recently expanded with the complete renovation of an on-site structure called Villa Belle Vie Amour. Erected in the 15th century, this beautiful villa consists of four splendid apartments, all furnished with pieces from the era. The independent apartments can be rented separately, or the villa in its entirety, sleeping up to 12-21 guests.
Villa Belle Vie Amour and its four houses (each one different from the other and all comfortably furnished), offers a shared pool with deck chairs, a hydromassage Jacuzzi for seven people and a small beautiful gym contained in a single vaulted cellar, equipped with brand new Technogym machines, corner bar, TV and Bose systems. Each apartment is unique with its own characteristics, but all reflect aspects imbedded in the vineyards and olive groves surrounding the area. The apartments have their own small private garden, equipped kitchens, LCD TV, A/C, linen and other courtesy services in the bathrooms furnished with marble and travertine of Carrara quarries.
Uno: The smallest of the four houses is on the ground floor, sleeps 2-4 guests in one double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area. Nicely-equipped kitchen, one bathroom with shower, AC, Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, outdoor area with wood pergola.
The territory of Carmignano is famous for being inhabited in ancient times by the Etruscans. A visit to the Museo di Artimino is a must-see to view the artifacts excavated at the nearby great burial mound (Comeana excavations). The hills around Carmignano are also famous for producing high quality wines and olive oil. Between the fifteenth and sixteenth century Cosimo the Elder and Lorenzo the Magnificent (of the famous Medici family) purchased different areas in the region, building the luxurious residence in Poggio a Caiano today known as Villa Medici, and later Villa of Artimino.
