Casa Mulino is a large and beautiful Lucca villa that has its origin as the village mill. It has been beautifully restored to become a comfortable country home. The five elegant suites have queen beds and each has its own beautiful and modern bathroom. The dining room has glass floor panels highlighting the original cellars. The well equipped Tuscan kitchen is a dream to use. A lounge/TV room with fireplace, a guest office with telephone, computer and fax, and a laundry room complete the interior. All is set on an elegant estate with Italian gardens filled with rosemary, lavender and fruit trees forming a splendid backdrop to the large swimming pool. Table and chairs are placed under a pergola for al fresco dining. The villa is entirely air conditioned for your comfort. Included in the price is a housekeeper who services the bedrooms and ground floor reception rooms and serves a continental buffet breakfast to all the guests 6 days a week. A chef is available for either lunch or dinner each day at an additional cost. Tuscan cooking classes can also be arranged. If your group is larger than 10, there is also a fully restored cottage with 2 bedrooms and one full bathroom for additional cost. (See charges below.)

The medieval walled town of Lucca is just 10 minutes away, the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is 30 minutes, and Forte de Marmi is a nearby lively beach stop. There are many wonderful restaurants in the area, and lots of shopping to enjoy. This outstanding stone villa consists of a comfortable living room, a large dining room with classic Tuscan fireplace, a lounge/TV room with fireplace, and a fully equipped Tuscan kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, and dishwasher. The five sunny and spacious queen bedrooms are each furnished for maximum comfort and relaxation and have their own modern bathroom with shower facilities. A guest office is equipped with phone, computer, fax and internet connection, and there is a laundry room as well. The Casa Mulino is fully heated and air conditioned. Outdoors you will thoroughly enjoy the Italian gardens, pool, pergola, and expansive lawns and terraces. All is done in great taste and beautifully maintained. There’s even a little stream running through the yard! Other extras include 2 linen changes per week, soaps, tissues, bathrobes and hairdryers in all guest rooms, pool and beach towels. Also, for more guests there is a fully restored guest cottage on the estate which offers 2 more bedrooms and a full bathroom.
