Villa Panzano in Chianti, an immense traditional stone holiday villa rental, has been lovingly restored to offer a delightful place of rest and refreshment with the modern comforts of home. As you approach the villa, dipping into this fertile Chianti valley, you find the large estate nestled above the River Pesa. Surrounded by 57 acres of olive groves, vineyards, extensive woods and meadows to explore, you’re secluded and private, yet only 2.5 kms from the village of Panzano. Built in the 1500’s as a silk worm farm, there are still 4 huge mulberry trees as reminders of this time. The buildings later became a monastery well known for their hospitality to people traveling along the nearby Roman road, which is still visible in the woodland. The location is perfect for exploring Tuscany. Located just 30 kms from Siena and 30 kms from Florence, it’s near the many hilltowns and local villages you will want to explore.
Ground floor:

- An indoor stone stairway open onto a reading and TV room with a queen bed used as sofa, next a very large living room (50 mq) with open fireplace, a billiard table and access to a beautiful loggia with a breath-taking view of the olive groves reachable also by an external bricks stairway.
- One suite with double bed with bathroom with bath, shower and bidet.
- One double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower.
- Two bedrooms with two singles beds
- Two bathrooms: one with a bath and shower and one with a shower only.
- First floor kitchen complete with stove top, oven, fridge and dishwasher. Open only when the upper floor is rented separately (Low Season).

All windows are screened. The lovely 6 x 12 meter ecological swimming pool has a large partially covered terrace adjoining it. It is built on a small plateau below the villa, overlooking the valley.
