Built by the Grand Duke of Tuscany in the 1700\'s, this large Italian villa has been completely renovated and decorated with simple Tuscan antiques to maintain its original style. One is reminded of the Renaissance masters as you look out at the noble cypress trees, vineyards, olive groves, forests of oak trees and fields of bright sunflowers. The traditional stone architecture includes arches, open wood beams, a tower, and sunny interior colors. The private pool is surrounded with garden furniture and a large built-in barbecue. The covered terrace attached to the house has a marble and iron table for outdoor dining. The main house sleeps 16 with a smaller side house that sleeps 5.
Enter Casa Leopold through the ground floor main entrance which leads to the kitchen, dining room and living room. This large fully equipped country kitchen has a raised fireplace, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. The dining room has a single long table that seats 20 with 2 large doors that open to the swimming pool area. The living room is large and comfortable and also has a fireplace. The television is in a separate room off the living room. Also on the main floor are two twin bedded rooms with ensuite baths with showers. Upstairs are 4 queen bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, and 4 bathrooms with showers. From this floor there\'s access to the delightful tower suite which is a queen bedroom with full bathroom. The smaller house included in this property is about 6 meters away and has its own private garden patio. Here the main floor is a large living room / play room with bathroom and shower. On the second floor are two bedrooms with 5 twin beds dormitory style. Laundry needs are taken care of by the owner for a small fee. From this wonderful location you can easily take day trips to see the sites of the region. Siena is just 20 minutes, and in the direction of Chianti you see numerous medieval villages and castles, each with their own personal story. The unforgettable city of Florence is only about 45 minutes.
