Villa Chianti Rosa is located in the heart of Chianti Senese, just 19 km away from Siena and 55 Km from Florence. It is located in an advantageous position on a hill above the old town of Staggia Senese. Dating back to the 18th century, the villa has recently undergone a thorough renovation and restoration, a careful process which has enhanced its charm without altering the original structure. Today, Villa Chianti Rosa is an ideal place to enjoy a pleasant and exclusive vacation "under the Tuscan sun", and it provides a perfect base in which to visit the most important cultural and art cities of the area.
Surrounding the villa is a park of about one hectare (2.5 acres). On the right side of the villa is a large, furnished, terrace surrounded by lemon trees; a perfect venue for dining al fresco. On the left side of the house there is a grove of Holm oaks, providing a shady area to relax during the hottest hours of the day. The swimming pool is open from May 1st to October 31st and is located in a private area behind the villa. Surrounded by a large green lawn it is equipped with all the amenities required for spending a lazy day by the pool.
The villa has an area of 500 sqm and can accommodate 14 people. The ground floor consists of "great rooms" typical of the eighteen century villas inspired by the Palladian style. On the right side of the large entrance there is a wide and bright living room, which is the largest and the oldest room of the building. Featured by great vaults, the room is enhanced by a rare fireplace in green marble and is furnished with luxurious and antique furniture. On the left side of the entrance there is the dining room (seating 12 guests) and from there you can access the well-equipped kitchen (stove, oven, fridge/freezer, filtered water, microwave, dishwasher, utensils). Finally, there is also a full bathroom with shower and a half bath on the ground floor.
