Situated in a quiet pastoral setting, and just to the south of Siena, stands Villa Amiata. Newly restored, and surrounded by almost 50 acres of wooded hills, this secluded, old stone farmhouse dates back to the 1870\'s. It has been carefully restored by the new English-speaking owner with taste, using local materials. There are handmade cotto tiles on the floor, original wooden beams on the ceilings and clean, white walls - lending harmony and creating a relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by mature oak trees, in a panoramic position, there is an amazing swimming pool (open May - September). This exclusive pool, approx. 50m from the house, enjoys expansive views over the hills towards Montalcino and Monte Amiata on the horizon.

Traditional aspects have been married well to a contemporary style and the property offers great privacy. This is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday, while nature lovers will find the area rich in local flora and fauna, including deer, porcupine and boars.

Furnished in a contemporary style, the villa is comprised of two floors. On the ground floor there is the living area, with modern sofas and Satellite TV; a large brick archway separates the living area from the dining area furnished with a large wooden table, antiques and a large French door opening onto the garden. Close to the dining area, is a modern stainless kitchen. The kitchen is fully-equipped with stove, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, and dishwasher. A French door in the kitchen opens onto the outside area furnished with table, chairs and sofas covered by a modern red sail. On the ground floor there is also one toilet and a double bedroom with ensuite shower bathroom.

Included in the rental price: Final cleaning (IF house is left tidy, otherwise 200€), heating and air conditioning, electricity, Internet, linens changed once a week, use of the pool (open mid-May to mid-September)

We absolutely loved this villa. We were lucky with the Tuscan sun. The pool was our favorite spot. The home has been beautifully renovated and was easy to keep tidy. We saw a few people close by the house going on walks in the parklands around us. Such a magic spot amongst the trees and great views! Our first trip to Italy and this villa made the vacation for us perfect! The property manager was friendly and helpful.
