This magnificent castle from the 6th century is ready to welcome up to 12 guests in six ensuite bedrooms. A stay at Hilltop Castello is like going back in time and visiting the Middle Ages with the comforts of today\'s modern world. For those interested in the path less traveled and history, this is the perfect choice for you. The property is 600m2.
Some of the features that guests love are a piano, indoor jacuzzi, Finnish Sauna, wine cellar and amazing views. An added bonus is its\' perfect location; near to town and yet not far from the sea. This is the perfect property for weddings, team building events, family reunions, and corporate events.
A two night minimum stay is required.
Daily light cleaning is included in the rental.
Hilltop Castle has many common areas for guests to enjoy. The first gathering room has a very large fireplace and a stone arch that divides the room into two spaces. The room can host about 50 people and is perfect for intimate wedding receptions but also for events, meetings, dinners or breakfasts, and wine tastings.
The main living room has a piano for those who love to play when they are traveling. The furnishings are antique and the views look out onto some of the local archaeological excavations and the valley. There is a small study with a warm atmosphere. Here you will find a small collection of books and a great variety of guides about the region surrounding the castle. An inner courtyard provides the perfect place to enjoy breakfast al Fresco.
There is also an Assembly Hall on the property that can accommodate 100 guests. This room can be reserved for private and business events, but also for conferences, product launches, exhibitions and vernissages. It has very good lighting and acoustics. Please see cost list for prices.
On the main floor of Hilltop Castello is the professional kitchen. This kitchen can be used as a catering service if needed. The kitchen was designed by De Manicor and has 4 burners, 3 pasta cookers, sink, countertop, washing machine, oven, Tecnofrost blast chiller, Liberal fridge and freezer, and kitchen range hood. Next to the kitchen there is a lovely dining room with a stone fireplace. There is also a small wine cellar and a professional coffee machine.
The notable wine cellar is in the external part of the castle. It is an underground area composed of three different spaces, which can host small groups of people for enjoyable moments wine tasting.
BEDROOMS:
Imperial Suite:
This is the suite for the Bride and Groom! It is divided into three spaces with a small living room with kitchen. After this there is a bedroom with high umbrella vault ceiling where a 17th century copy of the fresco \"Father Time\" by Federico Barocci is featured. Finally, there is a sumptuous bathroom with frescos representing \"The Baptism of Christ\" and a large chromotherapy shower stall in the middle.
Sky Bedroom:
This bedroom is located on the ground floor of the castle. There is a fresco of the sky on the ceiling painted in tones of white and blue. The medieval wardrobe, painted in vivid colors, gives a joyful atmosphere to the room. The long and delicate curtains unveil the beautiful hilly landscape. The bathroom is provided with a large glass shower stall and a modern design characterized by soft and rounded shapes. The union of ancient and modern styles enhances this joyful suite in an extraordinary way. There is a queen size bed.
Orange Room:
Regality is the protagonist of this room. The orange nuances of the sumptuous curtains together with the beige nuances of the walls and the dove-grey silk panels give warm tones to the room. Period furniture confers elegance to this one-of-a-kind room of the Castle. The high ceiling is enriched by a fresco of the 17th century, a copy of a work of art by Federico Barocci representing “The Calling of St. Andew and St. Peter”. The bathroom is characterized by a very modern design with ceramic and steel decors and a large glass shower stall. There is a queen size bed.
The next three bedrooms have direct access to the outside of the castle. They are all located near the entrance to the castle.
This queen size bedroom is bright and welcoming. This lovely room has wooden beams and wooden decor. The windows look out onto the beautiful hillside. The small patio at the entrance is part of the room and a perfect place to relax during summer evenings.
The second bedroom in this area is cozy and welcoming. It has two twin beds. The room has wood beams and wooden decor. The bathroom is very modern with a glass shower stall and ceramic decor with steel finishes.
The third bedroom is very large and bright. There is a queen size bed and a bathroom with shower.
EASTERN STAR:
It is located in the highest floor of the Castle and it is a spacious and cosy room, with warm tones. The peculiarity of this room is its warm and welcoming atmosphere, which gives the impression of being in a nest. The ceiling is characterised by wooden beams which conjoin as in a fan. The room is enriched by a delicate lighting and a fine wooden furniture. Windows are small, but pretty and offer an extraordinary bird’s eye views. The bathroom is very large and very modern: the glass shower stall is large and the ceramic decors have steel and teak finishes which perfectly match the atmosphere of the room.
WESTERN STAR:
It is a small flat in the highest floor of the Castle. It is characterised by a cozy living room provided with sofa bed, TV, a small bookcase. The bedroom has a ceiling with wooden beams. In addition a surprise for your children can be found in this room: “the secret castle”, a small space similar to a cave provided with many toys. Furniture is ancient and the bed is carved with roses. The window of this room is our kestrel’s favourite one for its hunting hides. The window in the bathroom offers a wonderful view on the internal garden of the Castle. Also in this room the bathroom has modern decors with soft and rounded shapes and the glass shower stall is large and comfortable.
WELLNESS AREA:
THE Wellness areas of Hilltop Castllo are reserved for guests staying in the Castle. These areas are entirely dug in the millenary stone of this extraordinary territory and they are a natural and welcoming paradise in which to enjoy relaxing moments. The wellness path offers a relaxing bath in the warm water of the intimate pool with jacuzzi and waterfall. In this warm place, connected to water also in ancient times, the millenary rocks are nice companions of this unique and relaxing experience. Walking through the higher garden, you can reach another welcoming place where to enjoy the Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. Both areas are provided with relaxation rooms where to taste excellent infusions. Our guests will be provided with a wellness kit composed of bathrobe, slippers and swim cap.
