The Duomo is a large and ancient house located on Via San Reparata in the center of Florence. For your party of 20 you can have all six Suites for yourselves.
Situated almost next door to Michelangelo\'s David, the romantic rooms and elegant atmosphere of the Duomo is ideal for those fond of art, and the slower pace of Italian culture. Situated in the heart of the historic center of Florence in an ancient building from the 1400\'s, you are just 2 minutes walk from the Academy Gallery, and The Duomo is just a stone\'s throw away. The entire house is quiet and intimate. There is a parking garage just 30 meters from the house
All suites had been renovated and have always been very popular with a great following of wonderful repeat guests that love the accommodations and the personal service. The 6 suites all have private bathrooms of course, some have a private patio and all are hidden away from the street which makes for a peaceful environment. There is the possibility for all 20 people togather in the Theater apartment for a drink.
Furnished with beautiful, carefully collected antiques, original flooring and many eclectic details, it is a special place to call home for a few days or more.

The Theater Apartment:
Small private theater that was recently turned into a fabulous apartment to sleep 6-7, located within the structure of a B&B on a quiet side street and yet in the heart of Florence...5-15 min walking distance to many of the sights. It features a living room and dining area with ample seating in front of a gorgeous fireplace. A galley kitchen with an original Venitian sink, stove & microwave, fridge...the works. A bedroom located on the once stage area and 2 full bathrooms, combined with the Terrazza suite on the 2nd floor with two additional bedrooms & 2 additional bathrooms, making it a stunning city apartment of almost 1100 sqft located in the center of Florence with access to a roof terrace. The apartment sleeps 6-7 in total in beds. A couple of comfy couches make the space homey and bistro-style tables & chairs create a versatile dining area or can serve to play games or do crafts. Whatever the heart desires.
The large space has 2 skylights and other windows for fabulous lighting and in the evening beautiful sconces and chandeliers create a wonderful ambiance. Just perfect for a larger family, group, club or anyone wanting to share this incredible space located inside of an 18th-century theater with lots of features of the Renaissance that make Florence such a desired destination. The private entrance away from the street noise across the patio level of several romantic suites make it truly a special place. The layout can be either 2 King size beds and two twins OR one King and four twin beds instead. The before mentioned roof terrace is accessed through the two bedrooms on the 2nd floor above with seating for 8-9.
The Golden Suite:
Located on the first floor (few steps, no lift), this two-room Suite is perfect for a couple (1 room double occupancy) or up to a family of 4 (2 rooms), or for a small group of friends. One room hast the traditional Matrimonial bed (Queen size) & the other can have the same or two single beds. The two adjoining double rooms face the quiet street and have double windows for quiet comfort at night. The Golden Suite has original decorated wood ceilings, traditional tiled headboards and Neapolitan majolicals...a special touch of hand-crafted lamp shades. The large bathroom has a spacious shower and double sinks. Futhermore there are seating arrangements, desks & beautiful old armoirs for the guests\' belongings. Also a mini fridge, basic breakfast facilities such as an electric kettle, coffee, tea, cookies, jam. A/C & Heating, Safe & free WI-FI.
The Mirror Suite:
Once the dressing room of the theatre: suitable for a couple or a single traveler. The antique mirrors together with some original frescoes on the walls, the original wood ceiling and the small 16th century fountain inside the spacious room create a magic atmosphere. The space is perfect for the antique armoire where guests can store their belongings. A bathroom with bathtub and a shower is perfect to relax. In the room: mini-fridge, electric kettle with breakfast set. Air-Conditioning/Heating, free Wi-Fi connection & a Safe. The entrance to the room is off the courtyard.
The Actor Suite:
Suitable for two or three guests. This large room has a gorgeous Neapolitan double bed in black with mother of pearl inlays and flower decorations. The wood ceiling and the old marble sink tell stories of old days, and you will enjoy the beautiful bathroom decorated with hand-crafted majolicas in red and blue and a shower stall. An additional single bed is available since the suite can fit a maximum of 3 guests.
In the room: Air-Conditioning/Heating, free Wi-Fi. Tea and coffee maker, breakfast set & a safe. The entrance is from the Courtyard.
The Diva Suite:
Suitable for two or three guests. This large sunny room hosts some family portraits of which one is a stage actress in the early 20th century...therefore the name of the suite. A double bed as well as a third single bed area. Also a couple of armchairs make for comfortable seating and a beautiful original 19th-century wardrobe finishes the room. The bathroom is painted in a warm red color, decorated in terracotta tiles and has a spacious shower.
In the room: Air-Conditioning & Heating and Free Wi-Fi, a Breakfast set with an electric kettle for tea & coffee and a safe. The entrance is off the courtyard.
The Cantante Suite:
A beautiful peaceful room for one or two persons with a spacious Tufted daybed and an extra trundle with luxurious mattresses. Located on the second floor facing the view of private gardens of the neighborhood. It also has a small Antique Desk and family portraits, a wonderful old armoire and two antique restored chairs for comfortable seating. A private bathroom with a bathtub and/or shower complete this Rose colored room with original tile work along the traditional Italian Headboard. In the room: A mini-fridge & breakfast facilities with a water kettle for Coffee & Tea help you start your day. Wifi, A/C & Heating of course, mosquito screens (not very common here).
