The Chateau and its grounds were developed by Francois Seurrat du Colombier, a wealthy merchant from the city of Orléabs to undertake bee keeping and silk worm cultivation. The heritage remains firmly embedded within the estate with many of the tress still standing from their original plantation. Of only the trees could speak!
In 2013, the Williams family undertook a full renovation of the Chateau with a world-class golf course meticulously crafted, intertwining through the vast woods. Seven beautifully appointed suites take inspiration from French artists and pay homage to the Chateau’s heritage through the décor. Chateau Luxe is easily accessed by private jet via Saint-Denis-de-l’Hôtel private airfield just 20 minutes away, or by a 90-minute drive, south of Paris. The concierge service may arrange bespoke private excursions, including short a 20-minute helicopter ride to Le Golf National in Saint-Quentinen-Yveline, home of the 2018 Ryder Cup.
