Description

Villa Orchid is a superb waterfront luxury villa of 300sq. meters, positioned on a rocky hilltop at Pouli, with wonderful views over the Aegean Sea, the famous sacred island of Delos and Tinos, and breathtaking sunsets. The location of the villa is excellent.It is a 10 minutes drive from Mykonos village and 5 minutes drive from Ornos beach. Ornos village can be used for grocery shopping, fresh bread,pharmacy and everyday shopping.
This luxury property offers sophisticated style, character, privacy and security. Villa Orchid was designed by one of the leading Greek architect and interior designers, has been featured in major home design publications. The private pool area offers umbrellas and sun lounges, a jacuzzi, outdoor dining for 10 people, and a barbecue area.

For large parties (up to 20 people), Villa Orchid can be rented with Villa Orchid 1, located next door.

On the lower ground floor of Villa Orchid you will find three beautifully appointed double bedrooms, all equipped with king-size beds. One bedroom has ensuite bathroom facilities, while the other two bedrooms share a large bathroom. Direct access out onto the pool area is offered from two bedrooms. Up a floor is the bright and spacious living area consisting of a sitting room, an elegant dining room with seating for eight, and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, washing machine). A cozy fireplace helps take the chill out of cooler nights. On the third floor you will find the master bedroom suite, complete with king bed, ensuite bathroom, and a large balcony with spectacular views. The villa is equipped with ironing facilities, hair dryer, and is fully air-conditioned.

If you come to Mykonos in September or October, you'll find a quieter Mykonos, with a pleasant buzz of activity, and streets and restaurants that are less clogged. Unlike many of the islands, Mykonos remains active year-round. In winter it hosts numerous cultural events, including a small film festival. Many who are scared off by the summer crowds find a different, tranquil Mykonos during this off season, demonstrating Hora's deserved reputation as one of the most beautiful towns in the Cyclades. During high season, the overcrowding is truly overwhelming. The best way to avoid the crowds is to get up early, visit the beaches before noon, and explore the streets of Hora in the late afternoon, when almost everyone in town wakes up and heads for the beach. Mykonos is one of the only islands in the Aegean where scuba diving is permitted; several dive centers rent equipment and offer instruction.

2013 Prices: Prices are per week and listed in US Dollars. All villa rentals are full week from Saturday to Saturday. Some urban apartments accept arrival any day of the week.
