Maison Puyricard offers 250 square meters of living space. The, bright, open living plan is inviting and comfortable. Interior stone walls and beamed ceilings are tempered with brightly colored furniture and local textures. There is underfloor heating throughout, with reversible floor cooling in the warmer months. The recently remodeled kitchen is fully equipped with all essentials; a large, granite-topped island, a Lacanche oven with gas stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and a large cellar/pantry. From the family room, a staircase takes you up to a mezzanine level where there is some workout equipment.
The master bedroom is situated on the ground floor and has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom (bathtub, washbasin and WC). There is access out to the garden through a set of French doors. Upstairs are the remaining three bedrooms; double room with queen bed, two twin beds (convertible into a queen), and a set of bunk beds. These three bedrooms share two bathrooms, one with bathtub and the other with shower. At the top left of the staircase, there is a vast area devoted to children, a sort of gaming room, where there is also a bed that can be occasionally used as additional bedding for a child.
Mas Puyricard is accessible through a wrought iron electric gate. This leads to a large, covered courtyard used as a carport. From here one reaches the main entrance door of the house (entrance is from the back). Privacy is provided by a long wall, punctuated with cypresses. The hamlet environs insures the guest a quiet and friendly neighborhood!
Countryside walks and biking are all possible out the front door. Just three kilometers away is the Provencal village of Puyricard with its bustling weekly farmers’ market (Friday mornings) and several bakeries, butchers, tea room, boules square and other shops. The famous St Victoire Mountain painted by Cezanne can be reached by car in 15 minutes. In 30 minutes, you will find Mediterranean beaches and the ancient and now hip city of Marseille. The Luberon National Park and many other charming villages and wine growing regions in Provence are also waiting to be explored close by.

The famous Sainte-Victoire mountain, immortalized by Cezanne, can be reached by car in 15 minutes. Despite a fire in 1989, Sainte-Victoire is still a very popular place for walking and climbing. There are several routes to a 17th century priory (a place of pilgrimage) and to the cross of Provence, from where there is a magnificent panoramic view of Provence's mountains and the rolling plains of the Aix area. There is a road around the mountain with superb viewpoints overlooking Mount Sainte-Victoire; there are also several departure points for walks. At the foot of the northern slopes of Sainte-Victoire is the little village of Vauvenargues, stretched along a green vale. The castle, a large square 14th and 15th century building, stands apart on a hillock. It was bought in 1958 by Picasso, who was buried in the grounds.
